Karen Martin - owner of Planet Cheer/Head Coach
i was a competitive gymnast and professionally trained dancer. I began coaching dance & gymnastics around performance contracts before deciding to coach full-time. i was asked to coach gymnastics for an all-star cheerleading team and this is when i discovered my love of the sport - it combined the two things that I loved to do! I then decided to start my own team. Planet Cheer has since grown to 2 competitive all-star cheer and dance teams with 80 athletes.
I am a USASF qualified Cheerleading coach for levels 1-5. I have additional training/qualifications in injury prevention, sports first aid, nutrition, child development and child protection.
